Yoga Sadhana

Remember your true self

Yoga Sadhana

Yoga is the return back to self,  back home to where we experience life. It is an essential practice of self love, discipline and devotion to life - a real union of mind, body and spirit. This union, in which we can practice and experience being in the body consciously, allows us to start connecting with more subtle energies, opening a portal for a more spiritual practice in which we can experience the essence of our true nature and our connection with everything around us and with source.

Sadhana Yoga is a spiritual practice. The word “Sadhana” in Sanskrit means “an effort exercised towards the achievement of a purpose”. Routinely applying mind, body and spirit in the pursuit of a spiritual goal is the most natural and efficient way to surrender the ego, to find relief from suffering and to attain peace.

Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Yoga Nidra & Yogic Fire Ceremony

During this inner journey, we will begin with a talk on Yoga Sadhana, how to apply yoga philosophy in life and the spiritual practice of yoga. Then will explore movement and alignment of the body through asana practice, activating the life force within, followed by yogic breathwork and meditation as a way to direct the energies inwards and create deeper states of awareness and stillness, to continue with yoga nidra (yogic sleep) to create a deep state of relaxation and explore the subconscious layers of the inner landscapes, and finishing with the ancient practice of yogic fire ceremony, chanting mantras for the wellbeing of all.

About the Sadhana

  • Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra, or psychic sleep, in which the body rests but the awareness remains active, giving the body a great reset and the whole system the opportunity to experience deep relaxation and explore the inner landscapes from a neutral state.

  • Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a gentle and slow style of yoga that involves long holds in various seated and reclined poses to access deeper layers of fascia, relax the body and to quiet the mind.
